We meet in Puerto de Mogán where we take a taxi and drive through the enchanting ravine of Mogán, straight up to the village of Mogán. First we visit the picturesque square and the Saint Anthony church. Afterwards we start our hike. During the first half hour we walk towards La Cruz de Mogán. This cross is located on the mountain pass between the ravine of Mogán and the ravine of Veneguera. On the way, we see indigenous plants such as the sweet and bitter euphorbia, Hercules´club, maritime rosemary, Gran Canaria´s viper´s bugloss, which all surround the path with their beautiful flowers. At the top of La Cruz de Mogán we will be enchanted by breathtaking views. There we see the villages of Mogán and Veneguera, the exterior of the famous Caldera de Tejeda, Los Azulejos with its diverse colors and the Atlantic Ocean. After a short break, we set off for the descent to Veneguera village. During the descent we are able to see several remains of the ethnographic heritage of Gran Canaria. We walk along a palm grove and see various imported crops such as sugar cane, cactus figs and fig trees. We also visit the local farmer Eduardo who will let us taste his fresh fruits. After a visit to the old village of Veneguera, we return to Puerto de Mogán.
